Brad Wertheimer

Brad Wertheimer

co-Founder and President

Brad Wertheimer is co-Founder and President of Access American Education. A practicing attorney, licensed in the states of New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College and a JD from Rutgers University-Camden. Brad has worked as a trial attorney for the New Jersey Office of the Public Defender since 1984 and resides in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters.

Ken Cooper

Ken Cooper


Ken Cooper is a certified gemologist and ran a fourth generation jewelry shop with 11 locations from 1976 to 1996. In 1996 he graduated from Pierce College in Philadelphia with a Degree in Paralegal Studies. As a Senior paralegal, Ken has extensive experience in business development and strategic planning. From 1996 to 2001 he served as business development specialist to the law firm of John Walfish, P.C. in Norristown, PA where he performed intake, trial strategy, case management, and client development duties while specializing in finance, real estate, and transaction law. Ken then moved to the law office of Gregory Pagano as a pro bono specialist and concentrated specifically on assisting indigent inmates and their reentry to society. . As Sr.  Trail Paralegal for Mininno Law Firm, Ken functioned as the trial specialist, and the coordinator of experts, focus groups, and client business development. In February 2008.  He left Mininno  Law to form Access American Education with longtime friend and business partner, Brad Wertheimer, Esq.

Judy Irwin

Judy Irwin works with AAE to encourage U.S. colleges and universities to enhance their international student population and expand their overseas connections.

As senior principal of Connect Globally, Judy is committed to the success of international student endeavors undertaken by U.S. colleges and universities. With over 30 years in the higher education arena, she has strong relationships with U.S. higher education institutions and associations, federal agencies, globally focused organizations and the United States diplomatic community.


Rachel Weisgerber

Rachel Brown


Rachel Brown is the Program Coordinator for Access American Education, coordinating business efforts with AAE partner institutions. Rachel resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is a graduate of the University of Delaware and an alumna of the Peace Corps. Prior to joining AAE, Rachel worked in the legal field before moving into education as an English teacher in Japan and Africa.



Duyen Nguyen

Director of Operations, AAE-Vietnam

Duyen Nguyen is a Licensed Education Specialist registered by the Government of Vietnam’s Ministry of Education (MOET). Duyen studied in the United States after graduating with a computer sciences degree from the Ho Chi Minh City Open University (HCMCOU) in Vietnam. Duyen strictly follows and supports all American International Recruitment Council (AIRC) certification requirements. As such, she guarantees comprehensive and professional responsibility concerning student recruitment; strictly maintains good conduct throughout all activities, endorses standards, and ensures transparency. Duyen has excellent ongoing relationships with both the U.S. Consulate General’s office and the U.S. Commercial Service in Vietnam, EducationUSA, and MOET. Duyen is a leader in today’s growing knowledge industries arena and a visionary in international recruitment standards, student mobility, and international college trends.

Pho Tran

Assistant to the Director

Pho Tran has worked in the international student recruitment field for nearly 12 years and is an expert in facilitating overseas study procedures, specifically in the United States, Australia, Canada and Singapore. Before joining AAE, she was an overseas study office manager of IEI, VNU-HCM. Pho specializes in hosting educational fairs, as well as coordinating and operating cultural exchange programs in Thailand and Vietnam. She has also been a Master of Ceremonies for many events in Ho Chi Minh City.

Lan Vu

Marketing Coordinator

LanVu graduated from Ho Chi Minh City University of Foreign Languages and Information Technology University (HUFLIT) with a major in International Relations. With nearly 2-years of working experience in organizing social projects for children and students, as well as participating in community development, she is now Marketing Coordinator at AAE-Viet Nam. She actively engages in AAE seminars and recruitment fairs and also assists students with their application and visa interview process.

Tai Nham

Sales & Marketing Assistant

Tai Nham graduated from the Foreign Trade University, Ho Chi Minh City Campus, and completed a course on Applied Professional Marketing at Vietnam’s BMG International Education. Prior to working at AAE, Tai planned and executed Digital Marketing Agency’s communication plans for brands in different fields. With his strength and knowledge of communication and marketing, he is now in charge of building AAE’s brand and marketing for all AAE’s activities.
